About Us
Ruben discovered his interest in photography 43 years ago. During the past 28 years, the core focus has been on wedding photography. Ruben’s daughter, Carine, who shares her father’s passion for photography, has been involved in the business for 10 years.
In 2010, Carine submitted five photographs to a Johannesburg photography competition, where four out of the five photographs achieved top 10 rankings in their respective categories. One of the photographs also achieved an overall second place.
Regular training sessions and courses are attended to ensure that they are up to date on the latest photography developments and techniques.
The name Ruca (Ruben / Carine) symbolises the united team in which father and daughter function.
Lizette, the oldest daughter recently joined the team after discovering that photography is also one of her passions.
Ruca specialize in Wedding photography and is based in Amanzimtoti, but do travel to Durban and the greater KZN area.
Client satisfaction is guaranteed through ensuring that every moment is captured utilizing two cameras at any given time.

Ruben se belangstelling in fotografie het 40 jaar gelede begin. Vir die afgelope 25 jaar is op die neem van troufotos gefokus. Carine, sy dogter is die afgelope 10 jaar betrokke en deel sy, sy passie in fotografie.
Carine het in 2010 vyf fotos vir ‘n Fotografie kompetisie in Johannesburg ingeskryf, waarvan vier van die fotos onder die Top tien in verskillende kategoriee was. Een van die fotos het ook ‘n tweede plek behaal.
Gereelde opleidingsessies en kursusse word bygewoon ten einde hul op hoogte te hou van nuwe ontwikkelings en tegnieke.
Die naam Ruca (Ruben / Carine) is as embleem gevestig waar pa en dogter as ‘n span saam funksioneer.
Deur middel van twee kameras sorg hul dat elke geleentheid waarby hulle betrokke is, ware tevredenheid vir hul kliente verseker.
